Father’s Day is Sunday, June 15th. I never thought men were as fun to buy for as women… until I started searching for Father’s Day gift ideas. I struggle shopping for my dad and Jason (we don’t have children, but holidays are a nightmare) so I chose things I knew they’d both enjoy. Maybe I’m a tomboy, but I would be thrilled with most of these gifts, too!
Six-Pack Beer Carrier with Opener: I’m obsessed with this product. How convenient is the bottle opener?! A great gift if he needs a classy way to transport a six-pack of Miller Lite.
Personalized Whiskey Crate: The crate comes with 2 personalized rock glasses, personalized flask, 2 ice sphere molds, 2 slate coasters, a whiskey drinking journal, and snacks. A gift for all bourbon and whiskey lovers (myself included).
Subscription Boxes: If your man likes to steal your beauty products, buy him a Birchbox subscription. The Birchbox for Men is $20 but otherwise works similar to the women’s subscription. There’s also the Dollar Shave Club: a monthly subscription service for blades. There are 3 options to choose from- $1, $6, or $9 per month. A compatible handle is included for free and you can purchase shave butter for $8. The last (and coolest) subscription box is Bespoke Post. Each month, he can choose one limited-edition box filled with themed products. For example, they currently have a bourbon-themed box that consists of an aging kit and two tumblers and a seared box with items for the grill. There are several other options but those were my favorites!
Entertainment: If you’ve forced your dad or significant other to watch classy programming like Petals on the Wind, treat them to something worthwhile. We’re huge fans of HBO, so I suggest True Detective, Boardwalk Empire, and, of course, The Sopranos. After making Jason suffer through endless Sex and the City and Girls marathons, I bought The Sopranos complete series for his birthday. Best purchase ever. I’m a bit squeamish, but those happen to be my three favorite shows… you can definitely enjoy them together.
If you want to go another route, buy him a round of golf at his favorite course or dinner at his favorite restaurant.
All of these items would make great birthday and holiday presents, too!
Give thanks to the amazing dads in your life! What ideas do you have for Father’s Day?
