Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I can’t believe it’s Monday already.
We had a fun day date on Saturday: lunch at a fabulous hole-in-the-wall (those are the best), movie (The Judge), drinks, and donuts. Sunday we did our weekly grocery shopping, picked up pumpkins and more mums. I decided to do a little crafting while Jason watched football.
I’m not the most crafty person in the world, and I can’t stand projects that take too long. I wanted to do something fun with our new pumpkins but couldn’t stand the thought of carving. So, I took the easy way out.
Here’s an easy tutorial for painted pumpkins:
Begin by choosing what you’d like to add to your pumpkin. I chose our address and a monogram. Anything will work!
Trace your design. If you have stencils, use those! I created a word document with our address and monogram.. Select font and size of your choice (I chose Century Font). Print.
Cut out letters/numbers from printed document and tape to pumpkin. Trace with pen.
Remove stencil and fill in outline with paint. I used a black paint pen… I think it’s much easier and cleaner.
