If you’ve read this blog for any amount of time, you know that I am a beauty addict. You probably also know that I’m not loyal to high-end brands; I love drugstore brands equally. I’ve tried hundreds of products over the years and realize you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get the job done. Kind of the theme of my blog, no? You needn’t choose between food and makeup: you can have your cake and eat it, too.
Here are some great products you can pick up while out buying your wine at Rite Aid (just me?):
Nars Orgasm – elf Peachy Keen: The pictures don’t look super similar, but I swear they are. I love NARS, but elf is pretty darn close. Both shades are a shimmery, peachy-pink and look great on everyone.
Benefit They’re Real – Maybelline The Falsies: Truthfully, I like The Falsies better than They’re Real. It’s the best mascara I’ve ever used.
Urban Decay Naked2 Palette – Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strips Enhancing Shadow and Liner (Nude Collection): If you’re not into spending a small fortune on eye shadow, check out the Physician’s Formula palette. The color and quality are comparable to Urban Decay at a fraction of the price.
Guerlain Liquid Eyeliner – NYX Cosmetics Collection Noir Liquid Eyeliner: I’ve tried many eyeliners in my 29 years, and NYX can hold a candle to the best of them. It will not smudge.
YSL Rouge Pur Couture in Blood Red – Maybelline Color Sensational in Red Revival: My two favorite reds. The YSL goes on smoother but the Maybelline lasts longer… take your pick.
