My Christmas wishes of a nap (fulfilled yesterday), and a reliable internet connection have been granted (thanks to a new router)… so now it’s time to come up with a real list.
I didn’t ask for anything for Christmas; honestly, if I want something, I buy it. This year alone we’ve bought a new television, two laptops,a DSLR, a thousand pairs of shoes, and enough makeup to fill an Ulta showroom. My family and Jason have asked what I wanted a million times and I could never think of anything specific. I finally had time to sit down today and search for goodies… Now that everyone is finished shopping for me. Guess I’ll pick some of it up after the holidays!
Duvet Cover: I desperately want to spruce up our bedroom after Christmas, and I think a new duvet cover is perfect place to start. I want to add color, and, in my world, color = a navy stripe.
Kate Spade heel: I love pumps and I love glitter.
Card set: I’m an old-fashioned gal and still believe in sending out snail mail from time to time. I’m loving this pink and gold set from Kate Spade.
Headboard: I want to add a headboard to our bed so I can comfortably watch Gilmore Girls marathons on Sunday afternoons. And pile on more pillows.
Bourbon barrel: I’ve always wanted a bourbon barrel, and why not get it from my favorite brand? I think it’d make a cute table or bar.
Canvas: Our walls are still bare, and I think this canvas is beautiful. I’d love to make it myself, but I don’t have the patience or time. There’s not enough wine on the planet.
Camera lens: I bought a camera this summer and have yet to buy a good lens.
I probably still wouldn’t know how to use it, but I’d love it nonetheless.
Personalized Whisky glasses: A southern gal can never have enough cocktail glasses and monograms.
Earrings: Forever on the search for the perfect emerald drop earrings. Emerald is my birthstone and it’s one of my favorite colors to wear.
I’ve been a bit of a snot and don’t expect much from Santa, but if my family continues to be as blessed as we were this year, I think I’ll be just fine.
What’s on your list?
