Beauty A-Z is coming to a close and the end of the alphabet doesn’t leave me with a lot of options. What to do for V and Z? X? What to DO?! Anyway, I’ll be combining letters for the rest of the series. So for T and U, I’m discussing two of my favorite brands.
T is for Tarte:
I’m all about drugstore makeup, but some brands are worth the splurge. Tarte is one of them. I had no Tarte knowledge until I walked into Ulta one day and was accosted by a sales representative who insisted I try the Amazonian Clay foundation. I’d been a BareMinerals fanatic for years and, after trying Amazonian Clay, I immediately converted. I’m sorry, BareMinerals fans, but Tarte’s product is better. The brand also claims to be all natural and cruelty-free, while remaining glamorous. I’m slowly building a Tarte arsenal full of foundation and brushes and mascara. It’s all wonderful and beautiful. Don’t want to commit to one thing? Try the Discovery Set (below).

U is for Urban Decay:
Another brand worth the splurge. I find myself rebelling against things that everyone claims to love so I am the only person on the planet who doesn’t own any of the Naked palettes (though I do plan on purchasing the Naked 2 Basics soon). Instead, I recently purchased the powder foundation, shadow primer, and setting spray (below). The setting spray is a miracle… like angels touched my face. It’s a summer must-have. Again, I’ve loved every product I’ve tried. Praise hands emojis all around!
