Today is the last Beauty A-Z post! I enjoyed writing (most) of these posts and hope you learned a thing or two! I’m skipping X because I have no idea… So Y and Z it is!
Let me get this out of the way: this is not a budget brand. YSL makes my favorite lipstick of all time, but at $36 a pop, it’s difficult to justify. I think J almost had a stroke when I told him how much it cost… but as long as he subscribes to NFL Sunday Ticket he doesn’t get a say. Anyway, this is THE lipstick. Packaging does not get more glamorous. As Kati Rose commented on one of my posts: “My odd dream has always been to own a YSL lipstick…” It’s what dreams are made of.
Z is for Zoya:
Zoya is a natural nail polish brand. I’ve received several of their polishes over the years in my Birchbox and am always impressed by the quality… the fact that it’s natural is icing on the cake. They sell an array of gorgeous colors and cost the same as Essie and OPI. Give them a shot!
Thank you all again for following along with Beauty A-Z. I may discuss other topics but makeup is my first love.

In other news, allow me to introduce you to one of the sweetest, most bad ass chicks around, Julie from Artwork by JM! I started following Julie’s blog for the mind-blowing artwork (seriously, she’s insanely talented), but immediately fell in love with her awesome personality and fashion sense. She is THE BEST at putting together outfits on a budget and throws in an occasional DIY project. I know you will love her as much as I do. Take it away, Julie!
Give us your elevator pitch and tell us about your blog!
Artwork by JM is a lifestyle blog where I talk about fashion/personal style, thrifting adventures, what books I’ve read recently, and my artwork. Occasionally you will see DIY projects and beauty product reviews as well!
What is your must-have beauty or skincare product?
Oooo that’s a tough one! I say it’s a tie between these two products:
1. Aussie’s Hair Insurance Leave-In Conditioner Spray. It smells SO GOOD and it’s really cheap! I use it in my hair every time I get out of the shower. It’s really helped keep my hair healthy.
2. Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner. I’ve used this same product for years because I love it so much. I put it on in the morning and it stays put for me all day! I love it. I’ve tried other products and they just don’t measure up. I doesn’t upset my sensitive eyes either. (Also, really cheap too! What can I say, I like a bargain!)
What’s in store for your blog the next few months? Any projects you want to share?
Lately I have been on a huge reading kick, so I will definitely be continuing with sharing reviews on what I thought of each of the books. I have also been sharing at least one personal style post a week. It keeps me motivated to change out of my sweats, since I am currently a stay at home mom.

I would love it if you stopped by to say hello; or you can follow me on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, or even Bloglovin!
Isn’t she wonderful? Go say hello!
On Monday, a few of us are introducing a linkup I hope you’ll join. This isn’t to compete with any other Monday linkup (specifically Ember Grey’s Grateful Heart, which I adore), but simply to build each other up and start some conversations. We’ll post prompts every other week and I certainly hope you’ll join in the fun!
Thank you again for all the love during Beauty A-Z! What were your favorite posts?
