Doing a last-minute post change here. Winter really messes with your ability to take good pictures, doesn’t it? #bloggerproblems
I got home late last night and then took a nap on the couch. Being sick for nearly three weeks is exhausting.
We’re doing our annual Christmas Carol trip this weekend. We usually go the weekend before Christmas but the play was sold out! We’re mixing it up a bit this year which is nice. I’m not in the Christmas spirit yet; our tree is only half-decorated and I have SO many gifts still to buy. Does anyone else struggle shopping for their significant other as much as I do?!
Anne and I discussed Books for Bloggers on Wednesday. Some great picks to add to your Christmas list!
And, of course, yesterday was the big wedding recap! Thanks for all of the sweet words, friends!
I had no intention of doing a gift guide this year, but when in doubt, throw together a collage… Have a beauty-lover in your life? Is it you? Here are some ideas:
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette: I have the smaller version of this and I love it, but this palette includes bronzer, blush, and strobing powder. NEED.
Sephora Favorites Lashstash: I ask for this every year. This year’s collection includes 8 mascaras, a Tarte curler, lash fibers, and a precision lash liner. Great for those of you who are mascara-obsessed, like me!
Tarte At First Blush Set: I have this and love it. The colors, pigmentation, and lasting power are great features! Includes two matte and two shimmer products.
Too Faced French Kisses Melted: A fun gift for your girlfriends or sisters!
Glamglow Dazzling Hydration Set: We all know winter is killer on skin, and Glamglow is the bomb.
Urban Decay Naked2 Palette: I am the only person who doesn’t own a Naked palette, but this is the one I want!
My stocking is my favorite thing to open, and it’s always my favorite gift to put together! There are some great beauty products that work great in stockings as well:
Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Setting Spray: After everyone finished their makeup before the wedding last weekend, one of the bridesmaids and I went around the room spraying everyone down with this. It’s one of those products I think every woman should have, and the 1 ounce version is only $14!
Sephora Face Masks: You know my love for these mini-masks. They’re only $6 and are the perfect pampering treat!
Real Techniques Beauty Sponge: Like the Beauty Blender, only $7.
Lush Bath Bomb: What better present than the gift of relaxation? After watching the Friend’s episode yesterday entitled “The One Where Chandler Takes a Bath” I wouldn’t mind getting a couple of these myself. Hear that, Santa? 😉
Any of these items on your list?
