In place of my normal monthly favorites post, I thought it’d be fun to share my favorite products of the year. It’s been a great 12 months of beauty!

One of my blogging goals for 2016 is to share more beauty posts. I love sharing opinion pieces and life moments, but I have a serious passion for makeup. I find it difficult to stand out in a sea of bloggers and easily get discouraged. But one of my newer coworkers approached me today and said my makeup was always outstanding and she’d love some help! I like to think of myself as a beauty ambassador for people who want simple, every day tips. 😉 Anything you’d like to see?
BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel: This product saved my skin last winter.
Stila Perfectly Poreless Putty Protector: a light, airy, bouncy, matte foundation. I dig this product so much.
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Correcting Cream: if you struggle with scars, redness, acne, or an uneven complexion, you need this cream. The best base coverage I’ve ever applied.
NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Cherry Skies: Oh. Em. Gee. I bought this on a recommendation from an Ulta employee and am SO glad I took her advice. I’ve never been asked about a product more in my life. No lie, every single time I wear it, someone asks about the shade! And no one can believe the cheap price!
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone: 2015 was all about the highlighting, and this buttery, smooth shade is one of the best.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Bold Brow Kit: As a blonde, I struggle to find an eyebrow powder that isn’t unnatural. Anastasia is the newest brand to help up your brow game!
MAC Lipstick in Russian Red: Ah. The greatest, holy grail red. It looks good on everyone and is long-lasting. My sister chose this shade for her wedding day and it was perfect.
Shiseido Eyelash Curler: A few people have told me they found this curler underwhelming. Fair enough. I have always used super cheap curlers so this one seems amazing to me! I will probably never use anything else.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette: this palette is made up of finishing powders that provide subtle highlights. If you’re looking for disco ball shimmer, this is not it. But if you’d like a nice, soft glow to enhance your complexion, this is the one!
Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray: I’ve no doubt promoted this product more than Urban Decay, but this oily-skinned lady is grateful for its existence.
Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara: I received this free via Influenster, but I love it! It’s a great addition to my Falsies. It’s so good I’m convinced I’m willing to fork over the $26 every few months!
Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Foundation Stick: The perfect every day foundation. It’s easy to apply and provides a great level of coverage without being cakey.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush: so many shade options for all skin tones. My new go-to blush!
Cailyn O Wow Brush: Looks strange, but it totally upped my foundation game. There will be a tutorial on this brush (and its dupe) as soon as this million year sickness leaves me.
There you have it! My favorite products of 2015. I can’t believe another year has come and gone!
I hope you all have the best New Year’s Eve! Thank you once again for spending 2015 with me- I’ve learned a lot and met so many amazing women. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those of you who visit and comment every day. Here’s to a fabulous 2016!
