Happy Monday, friends! Somehow saying “happy Monday” makes it easier to take… Linking up with the beautiful Biana for Weekending!
We sucked it up and went to the Red’s game Friday night. I took off work early, we drove to Cincinnati, and got a couple of drinks while waiting on my dad, sister, and brother. We ate dinner with my family at Montgomery Inn Boathouse. The food was delicious! After dinner, we made our way to the Great American Ball Park!
I think it was around 42 by the time we made it to the ball park. The rain turned to sleet but it finally cleared! Thankfully our seats were covered… otherwise I would not have been able to stay!
My hair was just a bit of a mess! 😉
We all had a great time in spite of the cold weather (and the Red’s loss). Unfortunately, the ride home was another story! We drove through a terrible snow storm and almost pulled over to get a hotel. Thankfully we all made it through safely! I was grateful to see my bed at 1:00 am.
Saturday we woke up early to travel to my hometown for my niece’s third birthday party! It was princess-themed, of course.
Her face while we all sang Happy Birthday is everything. She melts my heart!
Per usual, my sister and mom planned the most beautiful party! Everyone (including all the kids!) had a great time. It was so fun celebrating her third birthday: she is the sweetest child and has completely changed our world! Next week is her actual birthday so we’re taking her to the zoo, and the weekend after I bought her tickets to see Daniel Tiger live – it’s her favorite show! Beyond thankful for this sweet girl and excited to celebrate her the entire month of April.
Sunday J and I came home early. I did a little grocery shopping, cleaning, and Sephora VIB sale shopping. 🙂 And, big news, we bought tickets to see Guns N Roses in Nashville in July! I am pumped!
This work week is going to be insanely busy, but the weather looks gorgeous so I’ll stay positive. Hope you have a wonderful Monday!
How was your weekend?
