Finally Friday! This week has been so busy. Work is crazy but thankfully we’ve had nothing going on at night! Looking forward to a relaxing weekend of cleaning the house. Isn’t being an adult fun?!
I was on my way to work yesterday and was in a good mood. Ace of Base was on the Sirius 90’s station, we were having a cookie and cake day for April birthdays at work, and, it was Friday Eve. However, unlike Ace of Base, I did not see the sign. A cop followed me all the way to work to pull me over. As my coworkers all drove by waving. It was so embarrassing. Luckily, I didn’t get a ticket! All was good until I learned the horrific news that Prince died. Can we stop losing our musical geniuses now?
I am so obsessed with the pom pom trend right now. But, like most trends, I won’t drop a ton of money on purchases. I saw this adorable clutch on the Bright on a Budget blog and had to have it. It’s perfect for summer and only $22!
The second part of my Sephora VIB order is lost. It includes some pricey skincare products and I’m stressed about it. I feel like some lucky gal’s skin is really glowing right now on my dime.
The fifth season of Girls ended Sunday: did you watch? I thought this was the best yet… I absolutely loved it. The last two episodes were fantastic and I’m sad next season is its last. I’m about 10 episodes in to Kimmy Schmidt and it’s hilarious, of course. I haven’t had time to watch anything else – what’s good?
We try to make it to Trader Joe’s a couple of times a month when we’re in Louisville, mainly so I can search for the elusive cauliflower rice. While they’re always sold out of the rice, I have been lucky to score $5.00 ranunculus our last couple of trips. It really is the small things. They also have some decent rose’ for $6.00. You know I love cheap wine.
I bought “The Run of His Life: The People V. O.J. Simpson” this week. I loved the series it was based on and have a renewed interest in the case. While I love true crime, there’s part of me that feels horrible about it. I can’t imagine having my life turned upside down in that manner. But, here I am, reading this horrific recounting. Have you read it?
How was your week? Anything good happen?
