We could all use a little happiness today, right?
I have to admit, it was difficult finding happy articles this week!
In the blog world:
Yesterday Anne shared a letter to bloggers who write “why I won’t read your blog” posts. I could not agree more. Why can’t we all just understand that not everyone wants to write about the same things that we do? There’s an audience out there for whatever you want to write about… believe me.
Chelsea put a positive spin on Sunday’s events. She has such a beautiful way with words.
Last week, Sarah wrote about swimsuits for pear-shaped women. But it was much more than that. As a pear-shaped lady, I find myself trying to cover up, especially when I’m wearing a bathing suit. I’ve missed out on a lot of summer fun, and for what? My big booty and cellulite isn’t hurting anyone.
Links I love:
I’m sure most of you have seen this by now, but Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony sonnet was absolutely perfect.
Adam Levine has offered to pay for singer Christina Grimmie’s funeral. The story is terrible, but it’s heartwarming when celebrities use their fame and money for good. God bless her family.
Many of you are building your summer reading lists, so here are the best books of 2016 (so far). Can’t wait to find some beach reads for our vacation!
Have a wonderful day!
