Hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day!
I haven’t been buying a ton of products lately. With the holidays, traveling, and life, it hasn’t been on my radar! And the few things I’ve picked up have been inexpensive. It’s amazing what you can find at Ulta or other drugstore! Here are a few of my current favorite products – all under $15!
Lumene Bright Now Blur Line and Pore Minimizer Primer: I randomly came across this on Amazon and it had great reviews. It’s actually pretty great at giving you a smooth base, and it’s non-drying which I need this time of year! I bought the Too Faced primer around the same time, and I like this better. I’m excited to try other products from this brand now.
Physician’s Formula #InstaReady Concealer: Love this product, and it comes with its own little sponge! It’s not as full-coverage as Tarte’s Shape Tape, but it’s pretty darn close and at a fraction of the cost! I have trouble blending Shape Tape, but this is much creamier and easier to work with. My only complaint is it’s a bit hard to get out of the bottle. I prefer wands. And the lightest shade isn’t that light. If they’d improve those two things I’d never need another concealer.
L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer: Why did it take me so long to buy this?! It elongates and thickens my lashes like never before. It will forever be a makeup bag staple.
NYX Matte Lipstick in Whipped Caviar: I’m going to let you in on a little secret: this is kind of a dupe to Charlotte Tilbury’s Hot Lips in Secret Salma. The NYX product lasts longer and is less drying. That’s the truth as I see it…
NYX Suede Matte Liner in Whipped Caviar: You already know that I swear by NYX’s lip liners. Hannah told me to try the new Suede liners and I am hooked! They go on so smooth and last all day. Seriously – stop spending money on expensive liners!
Physician’s Formula Extreme Shimmer Shadow Nude Palette: I really wanted the Too Faced Chocolate Chip palette but everyone says it’s garbage. I opted for this much cheaper (and half off!) product. It’s fun for date night!
Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer: Always and forever and ever.
L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation: This has saved me during these dry, winter months!
Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara: I like to wear this over my MAC pencil – it keeps all the strays in place and adds a little thickness.
Coty Airspun Face Powder: My current go-to makeup setter. I’ve been using it for months and haven’t made a dent in the product.
ColourPop Eye Shadow in Acorn: I wear this almost every day (clearly!) and want to pick up some more shades. ColourPop’s unique texture works for this product.
Makeup Revolution Golden Sugar 2 Rose Gold Ultra Professional Blush Palette: This $10 palette gets a lot use from me, and it’s definitely more than just blush: I use some shades for blush, some for highlighting, and some for contouring. It’s an alternative to the pricier palettes on the market. It’s perfect for you fair-skinned gals.
