Ah, the joys of being a woman. We have a routine for everything, don’t we? I have a routine for my skin for day and night! And everything in between, of course. I’ve always taken good care of my skin, but now that I’m in my 30s, I baby it. It’s the only face we are given. Treat it right.
Here’s my current morning regimen:
I’ve found that my skin is much drier if I wash my face with cleanser in the morning. However, I need to clear my skin of the heavy oil and cream serums I apply at night. I usually just take a washcloth to my face while in the shower, but have recently added the First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Caffeine Matcha Wake Up Wipes to my arsenal. These wipes are one of my favorite skincare purchases ever: they cleanse and wake up your face at the same time. I love the tingle!
Before makeup, I apply the First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy AM Gel Cream. This feels so good on my eyes – it’s cool and light. I then slather my entire face with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel. I finally jumped on this bandwagon and am so glad I did! It’s refreshing and light and the perfect moisturizer for these hot summer months. Plus, it’s under $20! Hard to beat!
I use the Farsali Rose Gold Oil while applying foundation. It keeps my skin hydrated without being greasy.
And then I finish off makeup with the Mario Badescu Facial Rose Water Spray. I LOVE this stuff and always have a bottle handy. In fact, I actually gifted several people with bottles for Christmas! I think it does a good job of setting makeup, but, if that doesn’t work for you, it hydrates and soothes. Pop it in the fridge for days you get a little too much sun! And you CANNOT beat the price! I’ve had this bottle for over a year and it only cost $7. Do yourself a favor and purchase it now!
That’s my low-key morning skincare routine. What products do you use?
