I don’t know about you, but I always struggle between seasons – particularly the periods between summer and fall and winter and spring. I know fall is nearly a month away, but the temperatures have been in the 70s here for much of the week (praise Jesus!) and I’m ready to switch up my wardrobe. I hope fall comes early (or AT ALL) this year as we’ve had often have 90-degree temperatures taking us into October. However, I think any of these tunics would be great paired with jeans or leggings as the temps (hopefully) begin to drop:
Old Navy Popover Tunic: I have this in leopard print and think it will be appropriate for all the seasons! I sized up to an XL so it would fit over my hips, but I would have been fine in a large.
Long & Lean Luxe Crew-Neck Tunic: I bought it in the striped version, but will likely buy it in other colors as well. It’s lightweight and soft. Also it’s under $12.
Relaxed Cross-Strap Tunic: I feel like the cross-strap makes it a little fancier? Just me? One of the shades is called “Winter Wine”. #addtocart
Relaxed Curved-Hem Tunic: Pretty much any clothing item with “relaxed” in the name is okay by me. This appears to be t-shirt material, making it perfect for those warm afternoons. It comes in several colors and is under $10!
Relaxed Lightweight Tunic: These remind me of the Lush tunics from Nordstrom that everyone loves. The Fir Ever shade is perfect for fall!
I told a friend this week that I base my wardrobe on items that look dressy but wear like sweatpants. Comfort is key for me, even in the office, and I feel like all of these fit the bill.
This post unintentionally featured tunics from Old Navy only. The store is definitely my go-to for affordable clothing. You get what you pay for, of course, but most pieces from Old Navy last me for years. I’d also like to start writing more about affordable work and lifestyle wear. I think a lot of people mean well, but saying that a cute dress is under $100 – meaning it’s $99.99 – doesn’t appeal to me.
Are you a tunic person? What are your favorite pieces for transitioning to fall?
