I’m told it’s supposed to cool down at the end of the week, but I’ll believe it when I see it. These 90-degree days can come back next summer, but I’m ready for a break! If it weren’t for my allergies I’d deal with the humidity better, but this dry, hot period coincides with my worst allergy season, making it a recipe for disaster. Anyone else struggling?
I love sandals, but I equally love fall booties and slides. Wanted to share my favorites – some of these I own and wear regularly, some are in my shopping bag. I never share anything that I wouldn’t wear/don’t have!
Naturalizer Kepler Block Heel Bootie: These are much more expensive than products I normally buy (I’m cheap af), but I bought these during last year’s Nordstrom sale, and I’ve never looked back. They’re the best pair of shoes I’ve ever owned and they regularly withstand my 12,000+ steps days. I’ve got them wet and the water does not stain the leather. They’re comfy, sturdy, and have the perfect-sized heel. I own in brown leather, but am considering purchasing in black leather as well. I normally wear an 8.5-9: I purchased in 9, and they fit perfectly.
Hinge Barris Block Heel Bootie: I’ve mentioned these 100 times since I purchased them during this year’s Nordstrom sale, but, in case you missed it, they are fantastic. They’re also still on sale – get them soon! The side cut-outs and back detailing make them stand out from most booties on the market. I purchased an 8.5 in these but should have ordered a 9. They fit true to size.
Leopard Mules: If you have leopard mules on your wishlist but don’t want to spend $200+, these are a great option! All sized under $35.
Blush Mules: Who says blush isn’t a fall shade? Love the bow detail!
Wide-Calf Riding Boot: I bought these a couple of years ago and they’re a staple of my fall and winter wardrobe. I wear a 9.
Rebe Backless Loafer: These hot pink shoes will take you all the way to spring!
Merona Backless Loafer: I have only mentioned these 1,000 times, but, they’re worth mentioning again! They feel like slippers and go with everything. Plus, they’re under $25! Size up a half size – I wear a 9.5.
Lucky Brand Brett Bootie in Grey: I need to add a pair of gray booties to my closet, and you cannot go wrong with Lucky Brand! I love the cut on these.
Nine West Pumps: As much as I prefer wearing boots this time of year, I’ll inevitably need a pair of black pumps for dressier occasions. I’m in desperate need of new heels, and I’m purchasing these now.
I’m working on some freelance projects after work, hence the uptick in fashion and affiliate posts. We do what we have to do, right?
