Happy first day of fall! You would not know that summer is over in Kentucky. It’s going to be in the 90s this weekend – the weekend I’ve been looking forward to for months. I’m not sure how much time we’ll actually spend at the Bourbon & Beyond music festival considering the temperatures. The only time I’m okay with being outside in this weather is when I’m in the pool. Anyone else?
I feel like a jerk complaining about the weather when so many people in the world are dealing with extreme disasters. I hope everyone gets some relief soon.
I’ve been swamped at work this week and working on a project after work, so Friday is a welcome sight. Thought I’d share some of my favorite discoveries/things from the week:
Camille Wine Glasses: Several people have asked about the wine glasses I share on Instagram, so I’ve linked them here. These are the fanciest glasses I’ve ever owned – I’m a Target kind of girl, you know? I generally don’t drink during the week but found myself needing a glass of Merlot Wednesday night, and I’m so glad I had these. Nothing perks up your day like a treat.
The Mindy Project: This is unfortunately the final season of Mindy; I’m sad to see it go! It started last week but I just caught up. It’s going in an interesting direction, and I’m curios to see how it all plays out! Are you watching?
Majestic Pure Eyelash Serum: I’ve discussed this a few times but wish I would have taken before and after pics! My lashes have always been stubby and I’ve had to apply multiple coats of mascara to get them to stand out. I still wear mascara and primer, of course, but I only need a couple of coats. And, my lashes are so long, I’m having trouble wearing my glasses! I’m glad I tried this before splurging on more expensive products.
I emptied my beloved Neutrogena Hydro Boost Moisturizer this week and found it for $14.99 on Amazon. That’s at least $5 cheaper than it is everywhere else! That plus the free two-day shipping makes it a no-brainer. I’m all about saving money!
Did you know that you can shop Target’s Dollar Spot (or Bullseye’s Playground, as it’s actually called) online? Not everything is available, of course, and you have to buy multiple items, but this is a game-changer for me! I’m particularly interested in the Halloween and stationary sections!
How was your week? What are your plans for the weekend? And anything I need to know about?
