We’re well into fall – and it’s still 90 degrees. I don’t remember blasting our air conditioner this late in the year, but here we are!
I had another post planned for today but thought we all needed to start the week on a light note. I’m traveling again and having trouble focusing. Anyone else have that issue?
Despite the weather, I’ve been wearing these fall pieces every chance I get. I’ve shared many of them before, but, each item has become a staple of my wardrobe:
Target Mules: I love these shoes more and more every day. We walked three miles one night when I was in Cinci last week, and these shoes made it possible. They’re without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. They’re so inexpensive that I am tempted to buy a backup pair…
Old Navy Long-Sleeved Swing Dresses: Lived in the sleeveless version this summer, but these are just as great. I’m sure I’ll collect every shade before the end of the year! They’re great with booties now, but I can’t wait to pair them with tights and boots when the temperature (finally) dips.
Walmart Sleeveless Mock Neck Swing Dress: You know how I feel about Walmart, but, it’s the only place I can find my favorite snacks (snacks are life, what can I say?). I have to make each trip worth my time. I found these dressed a couple of months ago and I’m in love. They’re soft and flattering, and under $10! I wear a long cardigan or jacket over them on cooler days. They come in so many colors, too!
Walmart Utility Jacket: See above comment. I wear this over the aforementioned dress – it’s the perfect combo for this transitional season. And it’s only $15.
Old Navy Super-Long Cardigans: I now have this product in three shades. They’re perfect over sleeveless dresses and with leggings. They’re lightweight enough for this warm weather.
BP Side Slit Tee: A fall staple for me. These are great alone or under cardigans. They’re thick and soft and long enough to wear with leggings.
Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Navy I Do: Sinful Colors works well for me, considering the price. I find it lasts longer than pricier polishes, so I was thrilled when I found they had a navy shade.
Hinge Barris Block Heel Booties: My favorite booties ever that are still on major sale! I recommend wearing no-show socks with them.
Do you have favorite fall pieces? Or are you still sweating it out?
Have a great Monday!
