I’m off work today and am so grateful. I’ll be spending the day preparing for our small party tomorrow. When we started talking about throwing a Halloween party, we wanted to go big. And then reality set in. The forecast is calling for rain and snow flurries on Saturday so I’m glad we toned it down! The weather finally turned cool here this week, and I feel like I’m already in hibernation mode. We went to bed at 8:30 Wednesday night. I’m not sure whether to be embarrassed or proud?
Target had a sale on boots this week. I’ve been looking for a pair of black ankle booties and saw these in store over the weekend but they were sold out of my size! Had to order them. And then I saw these gray laser cut booties and had to get them, too. I had earned a bunch of fitness points on my Go365 account and cashed them in for Target gift cards – got both of these boots for free!
Picked up several red NYX Pin-Up Pout lipsticks at Ulta over the weekend: I had a 20% off coupon and they were buy one, get one 50% off as well. I love the formula of the Pin-Up Pout lipsticks. I purchased Red Haute, Cocktail Hour (a shimmery red that will be perfect for the holidays!), and Revolution. I already own Lucy and Bombshell, which you know is my favorite! If you’re in the market for a new shade, I highly suggest seeing what they have to offer!
Made my monthly snack trip to Walmart on Tuesday and saw this cute throw for $7! It’s the softest blanket ever and I love the pom poms! FYI: It’s under $5 online! Blankets make our home seem cozy, especially this time of year.
I try not to rush the holidays because I love them all, but I HAD to order these Pottery Barn pillowcases during their recent sale. Silent Night is one of my favorite Christmas songs, and I find that particular lyric to be beautiful. These will really put my bedroom in the holiday spirit!
I shared this on my Instagram stories Wednesday and wrote a post about it last year, but if you’re looking for a great Pandora station, check out Autumn in New York. It’s relaxing for when you’re making dinner and will carry over nicely into the holiday season. It would be perfect if you’re hosting Thanksgiving!
I hope you guys have a great weekend! Can’t wait to see all of your costumes.
