Alternate title: My Life Would Suck without You.
How was your weekend? I enjoyed my Friday off – J and I decided to have a date day/night. We went to lunch, did a little Christmas (and booze) shopping, and had a nice dinner before heading home to catch the UK game. Saturday was my dad’s birthday so we picked up his favorite wings, an 18 pack of beer, and spent the day at my parents. My niece is suddenly into makeup and spent Saturday and Sunday practicing her skills on me. She goes a little heavy on the blush and bronzer, just like her Aunt Lindsay! 🙂
Do you have certain products you cannot live without? I have purchased the following multiple times (and will continue to do so):
Touch Screen Wipes: The most random thing, but, sickness runs rampant in our office and I disinfect my iPhone and other electronics a couple of times a week.
MAC Prep + Prime Lip Primer: If you’ve read this blog for long, you know I swear by this product. I get asked all the time how I make my lipstick last all day, and this is my secret! I use this every day but only have to purchase two tubes a year!
Nordstrom Seamless Slip: I’m so sad that this is sold out because I wanted to buy it in another color! I purchased this during the NSale and I wear it every time I put on a dress. It’s not too tight, doesn’t ride up, and hides bumps and bulges. Put this on your wishlist.
Lobe Wonder Earring Support Patches: If you regularly wear heavy earrings, these are a MUST. Not only will they save your earlobe from ripping, they also make heavy earrings comfortable. A pack of 60 is only $6!
Aquaphor Healing Ointment: The only product that keeps my lips from drying out in the winter! I use it as lip balm before bed. It’s also great for feet, elbows, and any other dry patches on your skin.
Not Your Mother’s Double Take Dry Finish Texture Spray: My hair is incredibly fine and I need something to make styles hold. I have worn this for a few years – I’ve tried other products, but always go back to it. This spray is the only product that allows my hair to hold curl and gives me extra body. The best part? It’s only $6.
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion: Thankfully I don’t have to use this as often lately, but, it comes in handy whenever I have a breakout. Don’t let the price scare you (only $17!): it lasts FOREVER.
Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm: Magical. This will take off anything, including waterproof makeup.
Majestic Pure Eyelash Serum: If you want your lashes and eyebrows to grow without spending a ton of money (on chemicals you can’t pronounce), give this $13 product a shot. I’ve noticed a difference in my lashes and brows, and I go weeks without remembering to apply it.
