Popping in with an unusual Sunday post to share a simple cocktail recipe. Should there be any other kind? If you’ve read for long, you know I prefer my bourbon neat or on the rocks. Why mess with a good thing, you know?
But when Christmas rolls around, I feel the need to be festive.
Ingredients (use your discretion when measuring):
Your favorite bourbon (I used the entire mini bottle pictured above)
Splash (or more) of ginger beer (can also use ginger ale 0r Ale-8)
Splash of lime
A sprig of rosemary
Serve over ice. I told you it was easy!
Let’s call this a holiday Kentucky Mule. I actually used Ale-8 the first time I made it and ginger ale for the purposes of this post. Ginger beer is hard to find in my small town so I choose to improvise.
Cocktail best enjoyed in front of the Christmas tree whilst watching holiday movies. Cheers!
